What dvd burning program do i need for movies downloaded off bittorrent?
I’ve tried a few and they work but they arent playable on dvd players, only on the computer. Is this because of the type of video they are? is there a program i can get that will convert them so i will be able to play them on dvd players, and once they are converted will i be able to burn them with the program i already have?
For videos to play on a DVD player you need to convert the program to the DVD format which is DVD. Download CONVERTXTODVD3, that automatically converts the video for you to DVD, and then automatically burns it to a DVD.
For this you need a DVD burner, the cd’s are supposed to be DVD-R, or DVD-RW, any of them.
Good luck

How do you know if certain blank DVD media is compatible with a dvd burner?
Right now, I’m using a friend’s laptop and I need to know how to check dvd compatibility. I want to burn a few dvd’s, but I need to make sure that his dvd burner is compatible with either +/-. How do I check for dvd compatibility? Is there a program that I can download in order to check the compatibility of certain media formats?
i think you need to look at the drive itself, it shall be written on the drive, like under the brand, right?
How do you write a dvd using a toshiba laptop?
I have a toshiba satellite laptop and it has a writable dvd on it. How do I make a dvd that is readable on a dvd player? I’ve never done it before, only made music cds. Is it the same? I have different home videos I’d like to put on a dvd along with movies saved on my computer.
There is an easy way can help you, you should use RZ DVD Creator, it can create standard home DVD, it can convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R,DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, etc.
Work well, easy to use, inexpensive, i like it, and i believe that once you try it, you will like it too.

The Doors – Light My Fire
The Doors were founded by Ray Manzarek and Jim Morrison in Los Angeles in 1965. They released their eponymous debut album, which contained their hit single Light My Fire, in 1967 and went on to be one of the most controversial and influential rock acts of the sixties. Jim Morrison’s early death in Paris in 1971 only served to fuel their legend and both he and the band have continued to enjoy iconic status for more than thirty years.
This incredible performance of Light My Fire is from the Eagle Vision DVD “Live in Europe”, which is available now.

How do you hook up a dvd player to a dvd recorder to record dvds?
I am trying to hook up my dvd player to my dvd recorder and I can’t get it to work! I already tried hooking the dvd player "out" to the recorder "in" and the recorder "out" to the tv’s "in" but when I push play on the dvd player and record on the dvd player, it says "no signal". Please help! I’m getting so frustrated!
Sounds like you have hooked it up right.
The problem will be that the recorder can detect that you are trying to copy copyrighted material(DVD’s).
Most DVD recorders will not let you copy DVD’s, as you are finding out.
Copying DVD’s is illegal anyway.

How do I burn a DVD from my computer that will play on my home DVD player?
I am trying to burn a DVD (photo slideshow with video) on my computer and then watch it on my home DVD player. I have Windows DVD maker and Roxcio DVD creator. Can anybody tell me how to do this? I can play it back on any computer but not at home.
try using different brands of dvd blanks. it could be that the one you’re using now is not compatible with your home dvd player.
